Welcome
to
British-Car-Parts.com
Here you can find a variety of parts for MGB's and Spridgets (Austin Healey Sprites and MG Midgets), and soon other British marques (such as Triumph, Jaguar, and more).
Why Buy from Me?
A Working Knowledge of British Cars: I am an individual who is an owner, restorer, mechanic, and driver of my own two MGB's. I got my first MG in 1971. Further, I am affiliated with the owner and operator of a large British cars garage; this garage operator has owned, raced, and worked on British cars for over 35 years.
Efforts to Provide Good Parts: I know these cars fairly well and can usually identify the condition of the parts fairly accurately - this is not to say that all used parts are in excellent condition. It's often impossible to tell their condition without extensive testing; however, I do make a concerted effort to provide good, solid, workable parts. Lower than Normal Prices: I have bought MANY parts for my own cars - both used and new - and know the going prices... I usually charge well below what you would expect to pay on eBay or other sources.
My Mission Is to...
- Assist others in keeping their cars well-maintained by providing good used parts at reasonable prices
- Keep these parts in use by owners of Classic Era British cars
- Help British car owners by preventing parts from being crushed in wrecking yards
- Support owners via my other websites which have tips, knowledge, more parts sources, & links to more sites
- Offer dash kits in wood grains & other materials to increase car appeal
Offer some specialty items, such as apparel, nostalgia & retro products, etc. for fun and enjoyment
Where Do I Get the Parts? Sometimes others will give up on their long-term project cars and ask me to buy their inventory of parts. I do this as a means of keeping the cars and their parts in circulation with others who are restoring or maintaining their own cars AND to earn income to pay for my own MGB projects. Other parts come from the accumulated inventory of the British cars garage with which I am affiliated.
Currently Available Parts: Click on lthe Navigation Links by car marque at the upper left to see what we currently have.
See My Own MGB's: I have two of these "Little British Cars" (LBC's): a 1970 "split chrome bumper" (the only year the B had a rear bumper that was in two pieces, one on either side of the license plate) and a 1978 rubber bumper. Click the About My Cars navigation link on the upper left of any page.
